HygieniKit Milk Collection System
The Ameda HygieniKit Milk Collection System, included with every Purely Yours Breast Pump, features a patented diaphragm that acts as a two-way barrier between mother’s milk and pump tubing. This means that the pump and kit tubing don’t come into contact with mother’s milk, protecting the milk from any potential contaminants that may be present in the pump or tubing. This also provides the convenience of tubing that never requires cleaning!
Ameda offers CustomFit™ Flanges because every mother needs a good flange fit for optimal comfort and best milk flow. The flange is the piece held to your breast during pumping, and flange size is determined by the width of its opening. CustomFit™ Flanges are compatible with Ameda HygieniKit (included with all Purely Yours breast pumps) and the One-Hand Manual Pump. With up to seven sizes to choose from, you’re sure to find the best fit for you and your body's changing needs.
Ameda recommends regularly checking HygieniKit parts for cracks, chips, tears, discoloration and deterioration. If found, they may affect the functionality of the collection kit and should be discarded and replaced.
