Ameda offers CustomFit™ Flanges because every mother needs a good flange fit for optimal comfort and best milk flow. The flange is the piece held to your breast during pumping, and flange size is determined by the width of its opening. CustomFit Flanges are compatible with Ameda HygieniKit (included with all Purely Yours breast pumps) and the One-Hand Manual Pump. With up to seven sizes to choose from, you're sure to find the best fit for you and your body's changing needs.
With a tight fit, your nipple may rub along the tunnel's sides or move very little. With a good fit, you should see space around your nipple during pumping as it moves freely in the flange's tunnel. The best way to find a good fit is to try different flange sizes until you find the one that feels best and gives you the most milk.
